The full price
Compare the same rental period and exact vehicle. Distinguish VAT-inclusive prices, VAT added and an explicit reserve where tax treatment is unclear. Add mileage, Salik service fees, fuel, delivery, late return and chosen protection. A from-rate does not confirm the price for your dates.

RTA stated on 24 March 2026 that its unified contract applies across Dubai rental offices. It describes TARS, OTP signing, vehicle-condition photos and undisclosed-fee restrictions. Ask for the current complete agreement. RTA’s press wording on accident and repair-period costs does not establish the precise excess for your car.

A high review rating does not set insurance cover. Read fixed excess, extra percentage shares, excluded parts/use, police-report requirements, and total-loss/theft rules. Zero deposit does not mean zero liability. Record the repayment date stated in your own agreement.

Confirm the driver’s age, licence age, accepted documents and exact model. A general minimum age may differ from sports-car rules. Check the legal name in the licence, contract and payment recipient. A marketplace’s reviews do not automatically rate its supplying company.

Confirm the exact vessel and licensed charter operator, vessel insurance, guest limit, crew, safety equipment, boarding marina, route, fuel and duration. Get weather, substitution and cancellation/refund terms in writing. The car comparison rules do not establish maritime compliance.

Keep your quote, contract, payment receipt, condition photos and itemised final bill. Separate suspected fraud, a costly contract clause and a disputed charge. Use the genuine DET consumer-rights website for relevant complaints. This site sends nothing on your behalf.
